You're very special day is important and that you may have some questions about us or about wedding car hire/rental in general.
Below are a few of the most frequently asked questions we have been asked over the many years we have been in the wedding car hire business? The Questions and Answers might give you a clearer idea and answer some of the queries you may have and at the same time help you with your wedding day and car hiring planning.

Why should I book with Royalty Weddings Cars?
With over 22 years of full time experience in the wedding car hire in Sydney, we guarantee that we will be at your door at the appointed time on the wedding day! We pride ourselves on our prompt, friendly service, professionalism and offer all of our Bride and Grooms value for money. All our vintage and classic cars have been full restored and are owned by us. We believe we are well ahead of other wedding car businesses operating in Sydney.
Will the cars I see and book will they be the cars that come on my wedding day?
The importance of this question is that, your wedding day must go to plan and the cars you view and inspect will be the cars that arrive on the day. Just in case a problem does accrue with a vehicle a Royalty staff member will call and make new arrangements.
Before you book it is advisable to make an appointment and call in and meet with us. Then you can see the quality of our cars for hire. Good advice is. DON'T ever book cars over the phone or from photographs.
How many cars will I need?
This really depends on the size of your bridal party and your needs on the day. Sometimes we can utilise the cars to make several trips if the bride and grooms pickup address is close to the ceremony. As a general rule most couples have between two and three bridesmaids and grooms man. Most classic cars hold five people the chauffeur being the fifth.
The rule of thumb is Bride and father ride in one car then the bridesmaids in the other. Some couples like to have a car to go and collect the groom and groomsman. Then after the ceremony you have three cars, bride and groom on the front car and the bridal party in the other two cars. Please discuss with our friendly staff your specific needs and we can tailor a package for your transport and help you with the logistics of your day.
Is Royalty Weddings cars an accredited wedding car operator?
Yes, we are accredited by the department of transport. Our accreditation number is 24081
How much deposit is required to secure the cars?
To secure your wedding transport we require a small deposit of $100 per vehicle. This can be paid via credit card, Eftpos, bank transfer or cash and will ensure that your vehicle is organised and booked for your wedding day.
Can I view the cars before I book?
Yes we highly recommend a viewing of our fleet to help us better understand what your requirements are for your wedding day. We encourage you to sit in the vehicles and see how they will look and feel for your wedding. Our showroom is conveniently located in Eastwood (near North Ryde/Ryde).
Viewing is by appointment Monday-Friday from 10.00am up till 8.00pm; contact our office to arrange a time to view our fleet.
How far ahead of my wedding day should I book my wedding cars?
In order to secure the cars of your choice the earlier the better as there will be more models to choose from. As a guide we suggest 8 -12 months prior to your wedding date, but the sooner the better to avoid disappointment.
Do you have a minimum hire time?
YES! Our hire / rental rates apply for a minimum of three hours, per car hired. The only time a maximum time frame comes into play is when cars are booked for morning weddings. Or for the vehicles are hired for a very specific time. Please note overtime rates do apply.
What assistance do the chauffeurs offer on the wedding day?
Your chauffeur is attentive and friendly and will assist you on the day. This includes opening the car doors, helping you in and out of the wedding cars and assist in any other way you required. The chauffeur's job is to help make this day special and an enjoyable experience. If you have any special requests we will be happy to accommodate them if possible.
Can we take photos inside the cars?
Of course, you are encouraged you to take as many selfies as you like and the photographer will properly what to take a few more professional photos of you departing from the pickup point and after the ceremony with the groom.
Do your cars have air-conditioning?
Most of our vehicles have been fitted with air conditioning however please keep in mind that these classic cars are over 65 years old and the performance of the air-conditioning is limited when compared to a modern vehicle. We will do our best to ensure that you remain comfortable on your wedding day and include chilled water on your wedding day.
Do you offer discounts for weekday weddings?
Sometimes! Provided it is not a public holiday. In the winter months of June, July and August we do offer our winter specials and weekday wedding bonuses. It is advisable to call into our showroom, inspect the cars and obtain a written quotation.
What do Royalty Wedding Cars supply on the wedding day?
We provide white ribbons on our wedding cars, red carpet at the church for the bride. At your wedding photo location we provide champagne, soft drinks and plenty of mineral water, on the longer wedding car packages we also supply nibbles, such as cheese, dips and crackers for the bridal party.
After the wedding how many photo locations can the cars take us too?
This really depends on the time allocated for photographs. We work closely with your wedding photographer and will travel to any number of locations you require as long as there is time. These locations are usually planned in advance before your wedding day with your photographer. Please discuss with our friendly staff and they will be able to advise you.
Do you offer a night pickup or getaway car service?
Yes we do. If you are looking for transportation after your reception to a night photo location or back to your house or hotel (if within the Sydney metro area) we are very happy to supply you a vehicle.
Can we have young children in the wedding cars?
Yes we can accommodate some children, however we are restricted by NSW State Government laws as to the transportation of young children under the age of 7. As most of these cars are not equipped with seat belts we are not allowed to transport young children. For more information on this please discuss this with our staff.
When we make a booking with Royalty when is final payment due?
Final payment of your balance is due at least 2 weeks before your wedding date. Our office staff will be in contact with a reminder prior to this.
This can be paid via credit card, Eftpos, cash or direct deposit online banking.
